On the afternoon of November 5, a well-organized student handbook presentation lecture for the 2025-level international freshmen was successfully held by our college. This lecture was co-hosted by Gu Yangfeng and Teacher Niu Yue from the International Education College, aiming to help international freshmen from different countries and regions quickly familiarize themselves with campus rules and better to learning and living at Huzhou Normal University.
During the lecture, the two teachers elaborated on the core content of the student handbook, covering key issues such as management, attendance requirements, campus safety, and religion that international freshmen are concerned about. To make abstract rules and regulations easier to understand, the two teachers interpreted them vividly with cases and clarified the rights and obligations of freshmen during their study period and the boundaries of behavior norms through specific scenario analysis.
In the interactive communication session, the teachers answered the freshmen's questions about course assessment, dormitory management, insurance claims, and other aspects, and the atmosphere was relaxed and harmonious. The freshmen listened, actively took notes, and expressed that they had a comprehensive understanding of the school's various regulations through this presentation, and also laid a solid foundation for the upcoming campus life.
The student handbook presentation is an important part of the beginning education for international freshmen at Huzhou Normal University, providing an effective platform for international freshmen to understand campus rules and helping them integrate into the diverse campus environment more quickly to start a safe, orderly, and fulfilling study journey.
