Recently, the 11th Zhejiang Dragon and Lion Championships, hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Federation and the People's Government of Changxing County, Huzhou City, came to a successful conclusion in Xiaopu Town, Changxing County. Our school's dragon and lion team, led by coaches Geng Jiaxian, Cui Bingzhen, and Zheng Shaoyi, won 5 second prizes and 1 third prize.
In this competition, our school's Dragon and Lion team sent 28 athletes to compete fiercely in 5 events. Pan Bowen, Qi Hanfan, Guo Chengzhi, Shen Yunbo, Lin Kehao, Qi Jiayu, Fu Jiaxiong, Xu Chenxi, Xue Guangyu, and Wu Kai won 2 second prizes in the men's group dragon dance routine; Liu Chenshuo, Zhang Zhe, Li Zelin, Ge Junjie, Li Jiapeng, Shao Jiale, Guo Chengzhi, and Pan Bowen, among others, won one second prize in the Nanshi Lion Group Project; Chen Shiyu, Xu Xiaohan, Zhang Yuanmeng, GUBAIDELLINA SHAKHNAZ, Jiang Xin, Bao Yubin, Pan Mingyue, Liu Qing, Rong Yuxing, Gong Zhenxian, Kuang Siqi, and Ni Hao have won one second prize in the women's group's racing dragon dance project and one third prize in the women's group's traditional creative dragon dance project; Liu Chenshuo, Zhang Zhe, Ge Junjie, and others won one second prize in the South Lion Traditional Creative Project.
It is reported that the 11th Dragon and Lion Championships in Zhejiang Province, which lasted for two days, attracted more than 500 dragon and lion athletes from 37 dragon and lion teams from 10 cities (districts, counties), colleges and universities, dragon and lion clubs and other units in Zhejiang Province. They competed on the same stage around 17 events of dragon and lion dance, bringing a cultural and sports feast that combines tradition and modernity to the public.
It is reported that our school's Dragon and Lion team has been established since early May, and members have started daily training, with three high-intensity training sessions on weekends. Participating in this competition has accumulated valuable experience for the subsequent training of our school, showcasing the outstanding demeanor and tenacious spirit of our students.
