1. University Introduction

Huzhou University is a comprehensive fulltime undergraduate university, and has a long history. It began by offering higher education in 1958, and became a university for undergraduate students in 1999. In November 2005, the university passed the Assessment of Undergraduate Education by Ministry of the State with excellent scores.

The University is located in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which borders Shanghai to the East, Hangzhou to the South, Wuxi and Suzhou to the Northeast and Nanjing to the Northwest. Huzhou is the only city named after Taihu Lake.

Huzhou has very convenient transportation and obvious locational advantages. It is an important and open city situated in the center of Yangtze River Delta, Huzhou has long served as the transportation hub for Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing.The traffic is very convenient in Huzhou. It owns 4 nation’s first-class highways, and several railways. It only takes 20 minutes to arrive at provincial capital Hangzhou.

The University is located amidst Huzhou’s beautiful scenery, and major metropolises nearby are easily accessible. It has three campuses. It occupies around 257 acres of land.The campus is pleasant and beautiful all year around.

The University is currently organized into fourteen Colleges with 6 affiliated hospitals, 2 Clinical Medical Colleges and 11 affiliated schools. Huzhou University currently offer 16 master programs, 53 bachelor degree programs. The disciplines including Math, Clinic Medical Study and Engineering Study enter ESI 1%.  

The University currently has over 13,400 full-time students in attendance, with more than 1,900 master students. At present it has more than 2900 faculty members, including 826 members with advanced professional titles .

Since 2002, International College of Huzhou University has enrolled hundreds of students from The United States, Canada, Korea, Russia, Brazil, Ukraine, Yemen, Bangladesh, Romania, France, the UK, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mozambique and other countries. The first English-taught Mechanical and Electronic Engineering major started in October, 2015.

To improve foreign student’s Chinese language proficiency and lay the foundation for professional learning, International College provides students with Mandarin preparatory courses in beginner and intermediate levels. Meanwhile, short-term exchange students from a number of foreign countries are welcomed to study at Huzhou University.

After long-term endeavors, International College has formed its own characteristics in international education with small-sized classes, professional teachers, scientific managements and organized activities, and has nurtured a specialized disciplinary faculty team with highly competitive and experienced teachers. Huzhou University offers international students superior accommodation with modern facilities.

1) Foreign citizens with bachelor degree, no criminal record, aged 18-35, in good health condition and in accordance with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the Ministry of Education, China.

2) Good moral character and discipline towards the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the university, respect Chinese customs and habits.

3) Good academic performance, English language proficiency IELTS (5.5 or above)or English proficiency certificate with official stamps if study English taught Master program; Chinese language proficiency HSK-4 (180 or above) if study Chinese taught Master program.

4) Certificate from highest education attained.

Step 1 : Register your account and activate it.'

Step 2 : Fill the application and upload all required documents as follows:

1) An electronic passport photo (white background);

2) Scanned copy of passport (the photo page)

3) Copy of your highest degree Academic Transcript (Notarized English or Chinese translation)

4) Copy of your highest degree certificate (Notarized English or Chinese translation)

5) IELTS (5.5 or above) certificate or English language proficiency certificate (English medium programs applicants must provide)；

HSK level 4 (180 or above) certificate (Chinese medium programs applicants must provide)

6) Medical Report (Notarized English or Chinese translation)

7) Certificate of Non-criminal Record (Notarized English or Chinese translation)

Step 3 Submit the application and note your application number.

Step 4 Check your admission status regularly.

NOTE:

l) Always mention your application number when enquiring of us.

2) Your CV must be complete & continuous until the current year (Study or work experience).

3) Ensure all information and documents submitted/uploaded are factual and legible.

1) Registration Fee: 500 CNY

2) Insurance: 800 CNY/Year（paid to Insurance Companies）

3) Tuition: 20000 CNY/Person/Year;

4) Accommodation:

Double beds: 4960 CNY/Person/Year (Excluding water, electricity, telephone fee)

5) Management fee: 1800 CNY（refund will depend on the actual situation）

6) Health Check(Paid to the Health Center and Transportation): 700 CNY

7) Visa (Paid to the Immigration): 800 CNY

◆ Note: After you have passed the preliminary examination, Registration Fee 500 CNY shall be paid to the Huzhou University Bank Account before the admission letter and JW202 are issued, and the Registration Fee is not refundable and upload the receipt in the application system after you cover the fee.

Please pay the application fee after you have passed the preliminary examination, and it is NOT refundable.
