全体在校国际学生:
为丰富我校留学生在校生活，体验中国特色传统文化。适逢端午节来临之际，国际学院决定举办第三届国际文化节之端午节文化体验活动——包粽子，现将活动细则通知如下：
Dear all:
In order to enrich the international students’college life and let them experience traditional characteristic Chineseculture, the International College decides to hold the Dragon Boat FestivalSeries - Making Zongzi. The details are as follows:
一、活动时间
2018年6月13日15：00点开始
Time: Starts at 3pm, on June, 13th , 2018.
二、活动地点
东校区和润楼餐厅
Position: The canteen of East Campus.
三、活动对象
湖州师范学院全体在校国际学生
Activity object: All the international students of HuzhouUniversity.
四、活动流程
1、介绍中国传统节日：端午节
2、厨师现场教学:讲解包粽子的方法和技巧
3、留学生亲自体验包粽子、品尝粽子
Activity schedule:
1.Introduce the traditional Chinese culture of DragonBoat Festival.
2.Chef on-site teaching: Introduce the method ofmaking Zongzi.
3.The International students have an experience ofmaking Zongzi, and have a taste on Zongzi.

附:端午节英文简介
Attach: Introduce of Dragon Boat Festival
TheDragon Boat Festival， also called the Duanwu Festival， iscelebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinesecalendar. This festival is to commemorate the death of Qu Yuan， anupright and honest poet and statesman who is said to have committed suicide bydrowning himself in a river.
Themost important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. Itsymbolizes people’s attempts to rescue Qu Yuan. In the current period， theseraces also demonstrate the virtues of cooperation and teamwork.
Besides， thefestival has also been marked by eating Zongzi（glutinous rice）.Zongzi is made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped inbamboo or reed leaves. People who mourned the death of Qu threw Zongzi into theriver to feed his ghost every year.
Withthe changes of the time， the memorial turned to be a time forprotection from evil and disease for the rest of year. People will hang healthyherbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although thesignificance of the festival might be different with the past， itstill gives the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinesecultural heritage.
